My group for the final project 🫶🏻
I was lucky enough to meet incredible people on my very first day here and even more lucky that we were all on the same page regarding our final project for our masters program. We quickly came up with a great idea and clicked on who would be best suited for the different roles needed. Now I want to introduce you to the lovely crew:
First up is our host: Neda Kostovska. She is the type of girl who will always speak her mind (which I personally appreciate a lot) and she is a very hard worker. Neda knows everything and anything about Manchester United (clearly she is a very loyal person) and is very, very passionate about football, basketball and handball. She was made to be on TV and I can’t wait to see her host our talkshow.
Next up is our Co-host: Mette Aben. She is going to go out and talk to football fans and interact with the people who truly make this sport what it is. Mette is great at speaking Spanish and has lived in Spanish speaking countries for a while now so she was the perfect fit for this distinct role. She’s also super approachable and overall just lovely.
Then we will have a three-person panel to discuss football’s biggest “What-ifs”. That panel is made up of John Waldron, Daniel Barlas and Anton Plotnek. All three of them just so happen to be Chelsea fans and clicked over their mutual support of the club on day one. Dani and Anton are also from Surrey, same as me, so that is what we have in common. John is from Florida and the only non-european member of the crew, however he likes to emphasise that he is not the stereotypical “Florida man”.
Together the six of us are going to run the show and hopefully make something we can look back on and be proud of. If the opportunity arises I think we would all agree to continue the show after completing our studies in Madrid.
The main goal we have is to bring football closer to people and to have them enjoy the game as much as we all do. To highlight new perspectives and to just have a bit of fun.
I am thrilled at how the first snippet looked but I am very finicky about certain things so I already have plans to adapt and improve and I can’t wait to show everyone what we have planned. The script for episode 1 is 80% done and now the hardest part is finding another day where we can all meet up to film.
