On our final day we went to Inter Miami to see their new offices and the plans for their new stadium. The impact Lionel messi has had here is nothing short of spectacular . The team had had a horrible history in the MLS and had it not been for david Beckham and his influence and money they never would have been able to recover. However Messi is the real hero here because he has brought in insane amounts of sponsors, new and old fans from all over the world and has changed the way the US is viewing “soccer” (disgusting).
We then took a quick trip to the building site of the new stadium and on our way there we played a Kahoot! Quizz to test our memory of the past three days.
The stadium looked very cool from the outside but having seen pictures of the inside I was having trouble envisioning how they were going to complete the project by April 4th – their season opener.
After that we went back to downtown and went to Kaseya arena for a stadium tour of y the home of the Miami heat. Having been to two games by this point I was very intrigued to see more of the stadium. We got to shoot some hoops in their training room which was the highlight of the day for everyone.
